the people’s choice food photographer of 2015 finalist

This week I was in London attending a Taittinger Champagne Reception for The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards. It was a star-studded event hosted by Jay Rayner, and I was really chuffed to meet one of my foodie heroes, Michel Roux Junior.

There were 6,500 photographs entered into this prestigious competition, and I was very proud to have two of my images shortlisted.

My image of ‘Baking Bread in The Pig and Pastry Café’ came third out of 400 images, in the category of The People’s Choice.

Thank you very much to all who took the time to vote, it means the world that you supported my work.

This award winning image will be featured in the fantastic Pig and Pastry Cookbook (news on this coming soon.)

Here are my two award winning images, and a few photographs of my trip down to London, I hope that you enjoy them. p&p blueberry scones 2014-61funchal 2014-130peoples choice awards 2015-5peoples choice awards 2015-9peoples choice awards 2015-12peoples choice awards 2015-28peoples choice awards 2015-22peoples choice awards 2015-24peoples choice awards 2015-25peoples choice awards 2015-15peoples choice awards 2015-11peoples choice awards 2015-23peoples choice awards 2015-26peoples choice awards 2015-8peoples choice awards 2015-4PEOPLES CHOICE_IMAGE_3RD_2015 copy
