Skosh (noun) – from the Japanese word Sukoshi, meaning a small amount or a little.
York will soon be treated to another superb independent restaurant, Skosh. Offering a grazing menu of contemporary and internationally inspired dishes, it is sure to be loved by Yorkshire’s foodies.
Head Chef Neil Bentinck has worked in numerous acclaimed restaurants in London and the North of England, however much of his inspiration comes from his father’s Indian heritage and his travels to Australia, Thailand, America and Japan.
Having sampled Neil’s stunning dishes at our shoot, I can’t wait for Skosh to open on Micklegate in May. Luckily none of us has to wait that long, as we have the opportunity to sample his stunning food at a series of four pop-ups in March!
